Shipping Time

How much does shipping cost?

  • Shipping is FREE on tracked orders over $55.
  • Orders under $55 have a flat $4.95 shipping fee.
  • Shipping is currently available within Australia only.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Here’s what to expect when waiting for your order:

  • Orders take 2–3 business days to process before dispatch.
  • Delivery usually takes 5–10 business days within Australia.
  • Public holidays or peak periods may extend delivery times.

How can I track my order?

Tracking your package is simple:

  • Every order includes a tracking number.
  • A tracking link is emailed once your order is shipped.
  • You can also track your parcel on our website under Track Your Order.

When does tracking information become available?

Tracking information may take 2–3 business days after dispatch to appear. Updates show each time the parcel is scanned at a new delivery stage.

Why can’t I track my order on the website?

There are a few reasons why tracking may not appear straight away:

  • Some carriers do not sync data with every tracking system.
  • You can try 17track.net, which supports thousands of carriers.
  • If you still cannot track your parcel, contact us at support@astrastraps.com.au.

Why is my shipment status not updating?

This usually means your parcel is still in transit. The tracking status will update once it is scanned at the next checkpoint.

What should I do if my order is late?

If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated delivery window:

  • Check your tracking number for the latest status.
  • Allow a few extra days during holidays or busy periods.
  • If it’s still delayed, contact us at support@astrastraps.com.au so we can investigate with the carrier.

Do you offer express shipping?

We currently offer standard shipping only. Express delivery is not available at this time.

Payment

Do you store my credit card details?

No. We do not store your credit card details.

  • All payments are processed through a secure SSL-encrypted page.
  • Your information is sent directly to our payment provider for authorisation.
  • Astra Straps does not keep card information on file.

Do you charge sales tax?

Yes. Sales tax is already included in the listed price. You will not see extra tax added at checkout.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay for your order in several ways:

  • Debit cards
  • All prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD)

Do you accept PayPal or Afterpay?

At this time we do not accept PayPal or Afterpay. We currently process payments via credit and debit cards only.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No. You can check out as a guest without creating an account.

Can I pre-order an item that is sold out?

Yes. If a product is out of stock, a pre-order button will appear on the product page so you can reserve it.

How do I place an order online?

Ordering is quick and simple:

  • Click Add to Cart and then Check Out.
  • Enter your shipping and payment details.
  • Confirm your order and you’ll receive an email confirmation.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Can I update the size or colour after ordering?

Yes, if your order has not been dispatched. Email us at support@astrastraps.com.au with your request. Once an order has shipped, product details cannot be changed.

What is your return policy?

We want you to feel confident shopping with us:

  • Returns are accepted within 90 days of delivery.
  • Items must be in their original condition to qualify for a return or exchange.
  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Do you cover return shipping costs?

Return shipping is not included. Customers are responsible for covering the cost of sending items back to us.

Refunds

When will I receive my refund?

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll email you to confirm whether your refund has been approved.

If approved:

  • Your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 2–3 business days.
  • Please note: Depending on your bank or card provider, it can take up to 8 business days for the refunded amount to appear in your account.

If the return is not approved, we will notify you by email with the reason.

Can I request an exchange instead of a refund?

Are Astra Straps water-resistant?

Yes. Our silicone and stainless steel straps are water-resistant and suitable for everyday wear. Leather straps should be kept away from water to extend their lifespan.

Are Astra Straps hypoallergenic?

Yes. Our silicone straps are hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin.

Do Astra Straps fit both men’s and women’s watches?

Yes. Our straps are designed for all wrist sizes and styles. Each product page includes sizing information to help you choose the right fit.

Do your products come with a warranty?

Yes. Astra Straps covers products that arrive faulty or damaged. If this happens, email us at support@astrastraps.com.au within 30 days and we’ll arrange a replacement.

  • Faults covered: manufacturing defects, damaged or incorrect items received.
  • Not covered: normal wear and tear, rust, misuse, product modifications, accidents, loss, or theft.

Yes. Most watch straps can be changed at home using a small spring bar tool. If you’re unsure, a jeweller or watch repair shop can assist.

How often should I replace a watch strap?

It depends on the material and how often you wear it:

  • Silicone or nylon: usually last 1–2 years with daily use.
  • Leather: may need replacing sooner if exposed to sweat or water.
  • Metal bands: often last longer but may need clasps or links adjusted.

What is the most common type of watch band?

Silicone and leather straps are the most common, as they balance comfort, durability, and style.

What is the difference between a strap and a band?

They refer to the same thing. “Strap” is often used for flexible materials like leather or silicone, while “band” is a broader term that also covers metal bracelets.

How do I check my watch band size?

Measure the width between the lugs on your watch case in millimetres. This is the correct strap size for your watch.

What are common watch sizing mistakes?

  • Choosing a strap that’s too wide or narrow for the watch lugs.
  • Forgetting to measure in millimetres.
  • Ordering the wrong wrist length (short vs long straps).
